How can I add funds to my account?

On Venly's marketplace NFTs can be bought or sold on different blockchains including Matic (Polygon), Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain and Avalanche. All NFTs are priced in and can be bought with USDC - this is a design choice aimed at mass adoption and ease of use.

To add USDC to your account follow these steps

Go to the Venly Market
Press the USDC balance icon next to your profile name in the right top corner
Press Deposit
Choose either of 3 options (top up with your own USDC or buy some using VISA via Transak or Ramp)

| Note: For topping up with your own USDC, we currently support Ethereum, Avalanche or Hedera. ||| Note: Sending USDC or other tokens on a different blockchain than the one indicated for the deposit address, will result in the loss of your deposit. ||| Note: Manually deposited USDC in your Venly Wallet or connected MetaMask wallet cannot be used to buy NFTs on the Venly Market. Only USDC added to your Venly Market Balance can be used to buy NFTs.

No, coupled wallets like Metamask can only be used to sell NFTs. Note that you will need some gas (MATIC, ETH, AVAX or BNB depending on which chain you are operating) the first time you approve a collection's contract address with the marketplace.

The market supports Metamask, here is how to connect your Metamask wallet to the market.

Go to your wallets overview
Press the button 'Connect Metamask'
When Metamask is successfully connected a new wallet will appear in the overview.

Can I use my Metamask wallet to buy NFTs?

No, coupled wallets like Metamask can only be used to sell NFTs. Note that you will need some gas (ETH, MATIC, BNB or AVAX depending on which chain you are operating) to allow the wallet to transfer the NFT into Venly's custody which requires a transaction.

Can I transfer my NFT from my Venly wallet to my Metamask wallet?

Yes, visit https://wallet.venly.io/ and go to your inventory. Once you enlarge your NFT, there will be a transfer button.

If I used my Metamask wallet to sell an NFT, will the funds be sent to my Metamask wallet?

No, the funds will be added to your Venly market balance. Here is a guide how to withdraw them.

I sent my NFT to Metamask and now I can't find it anymore

Accepted Answer

Metamask is a different project therefore we can't cover all potential issues that are related to Metamask, but to get you started here are a few common issues that you might be facing:

Metamask doesn't support all nft contract / types
Metamask is connected to the wrong network
Metamask is connected to the wrong wallet

| In general our advice is to export your Metamask wallet and import it back in Arkane, if you still can retrieve your nfts then please contact our support.

Why is my NFT marked as fake, spam or inappropriate

Accepted Answer

NFTs can be marked as fake, spam or inappropriate when the NFT contract has been flagged. NFTs that are flagged can not be sold on the market, but can still be transferred.

The usual reasons why an NFT is flagged are:

NFTs that violate copyright rules
NFTs that are used to spam
NFTs that are used to push advertisements
NFTs that are fake and are used for to scam people

||| NFTs coming from a general minter contract such as the public minter of Polygon can also get flagged if that contract leads to many scam and/or fake nfts or if no contract owner can be differentiated.
